THE IMPORTANT OF MUSIC IN LIFE

The man enters into this universe and exits with music. The music is the only common to every one in the world. Though there are many different kinds of music, it is only one and the same. The music is one and only though we call them by different names. It is just a part of whole music.
We can identify all the seas and oceans only in the world map and globe. It is very easy to say this is Atlandic ocean and that is Indian Ocean. But is not at all possible to say which ocean is which and we can say only thing that it is water. It is the same with the music also.
When we talk about music, we can call them with different names and we can feel the difference between the different music. But we we involve ourselves and play or listen the music, the feeling is entirely different. The state of our mind would be in a different world.
There are many different qualities of music and they reach you to different parts of the body.
Some music reach your hands and you start to clap. Some music reach your legs and you start to make rythms with your legs. Some music reach your whole body and that is reason that you have the feeling for dancing.
Music is the only art which makes you to forget yourself. For other arts, the awareness would always be there. When you are involved in playing or listening music, you enter into a different world. The Music is based on the imaginations. It is full of imaginations with new creativities. Once you start to develop a music , it needs new ideas, for which you need creativity.

With music, you would start to find new ideas, new approaches and different colours of musical phrases and in the process, you would get a good feels towards tunes. For this particular music, you are the author. This type of knowledge helps in our regular life in different ways. the creativity and composing of the tunes would bring the deep and vast thought in your mind whatever job you undertake.
You will get the solution immediately if you happen to face any problems. You would be aware in which
way the matter would move and you would be having the solution to slove it at the starting stage itself. Secondly you would always be having the presence of mind when it is needed. Even at the most difficult situations, your mind would stay cool and this feeling would help you to have the presence of mind would surely help you to come out of the problems without any strain in your mind and body.
With the beginning of the 21st century, technology is increasing at an amazing rate. Everyone is trying to keep up and have cutting edge equipment, and this include school systems. With technology now being such a dominant factor in classrooms, teachers are doing all they can to incorporate technology into their teaching. This includes playing music during tests. Instructors see this as a way to relax students and reduce anxiety, thus helping their test performance.
There is research though, that states to get maximal scores on a test, studying should be done with the same cues present as during testing. According to the encoding specificity principle of memory, (Thompson & Tulving, 1970) the most effective retrieval cues at the time of recall are cues that contain information that was processed at the time the to-be-remembered material was studied. Therefore, for the music to help the student during testing, it should be played during studying also.
This brings up the issue of whether or not studying with music effects test performance. Many students feel that studying with music helps. Raushcher, Shay, and Ky (1993) discovered that performance on abstract/spatial reasoning tests improved after the participants listened to Mozart as opposed to a relaxation tape or silence.
Research seems to show that music during studying inhibits learning. Is this true even if there is music present during testing? This experiment will show if there is a relationship between music present during studying and test scores. It will also exhibit if there is a correlation between studying with environmental cues and having the same cues present during recall. It will show how the encoding specificity principle relates to music being present during studying. This shows that music make meanings in one's life.

self - respect

Self-respect (or self-esteem) is an important element of psychology. It is a person’s individual attitude towards himself or herself. By definition, self-respect “includes a person's subjective appraisal of himself or herself as intrinsically positive or negative to some degree” (Wiki, 2005). Self-respect has been thought of since very early ages of human civilization. And certainly the concept of self-respect has been changing just like the entire humanity has changed. The more civilized societies became, the more tolerant members of this society became. Therefore, the more tolerant members of societies, the less self-respect they have. However, in psychology nothing is certain, and one can easily argue about my perception of self-respect, but I believe today self-respect is much a less important issue than it was say a thousand years ago.

In the times when murders and slavery were casual things, when laws were not good enough to protect citizens, people had much greater self-respect than today. When a man understands that he can be killed for his home, and that there is nobody accept himself to protect his family and the home (no police, no guard) then he had to be much more rigid, tough, harsh, and demandable than men of today. He then would possess much stronger self-esteem and self-respect because without these, he simply would not be able to protect his family and home. If he did not possess self-respect, anybody could come and take his possessions, occupy his home, or anything else of the same kind.

Nowadays, the concept of self-respect is completely different. In developed countries like the United States people are much more socially protected than in the ancient world described above. Although there are criminals even now, and they can kill and steal, nevertheless people can ask help from the police and other government agencies. Thus, people now feel more protected, and they do not have to bother that much about they property and family as they had to many years ago. Therefore, in developed countries with good social protection people do not care much about their self-respect from the point of view of manhood and courage.

In addition, with the development of civilization and the growing population of minorities, people devote less time to their dignity, self-respect, and honor. Males homosexuals, punks, and some other lifestyle groups demonstrate that their members have traded self-respect for some fake values. Is a man with a colored hair dancing in women’s lingerie in public considered a man with self-respect? Do people forming same-sex parenting couples, which doom the baby to mental sufferings, have self-respect? Do fathers who leave their women and children and never come back or remember them have self-respect? Surely not, even if they claim they have. And in the diverse world we now live in, self-respect has become a very rare thing, although there I not a single person who would say he or she did not respect him/herself.

What is even more bad, mass media to a certain degree promotes the wide extinction of self-respect. Legalization of gay marriages, prostitution, divorces, domination of a woman in a family, - all of these are widely demonstrated via mass media. Currently the classic role of man as a hunter has been lost in data batches and financial reports, and classic role of woman has also been lost in management doctrines and advertisements. Ethics and morality has been exchanged for money, power, and pleasure. And all of that happened because people’s too weak self-respect. The mass media promotes these things, and makes us forget about our genuine honor, integrity, dignity, and self-respect.

Ultimately, people – especially men – of today should pay more attention to their self-respect. If they respect themselves, then they would make things around them better. But nowadays, people are greatly influenced by many external factors, and thus their self-respect disappears. But self-respect and self-esteem are much more important that those things many people value now.
